From the lies to the truth: the reality in the fiction

Abstract

This paper explores the novel El hablador by Mario Vargas Llosa to identify the configuration of the boundaries between fiction and reality. More than an indigenous perspective or claim to historical order, a pathway is identified to exalt literature through a proper mechanism of the machiguenga culture: orality, and thus the work calls into question the ways of tradition and gives to literature (by writing) an exemplary condition: reach a permanent state, the possibility of overcoming the time barrier.
