Resumen
El objetivo del estudio fue examinar la apertura del adolescente hacia sus padres sobre sus actividades e interacciones en línea y su asociación con factores familiares. Los participantes fueron 431 adolescentes entre los 11 y 15 años, siendo 204 (47,3 %) del sexo masculino y 227 (52,7 %) del femenino de escuelas secundarias públicas de Sonora, México. Se realizaron análisis descriptivos y factorial confirmatorio en los instrumentos de medida, se utilizaron ecuaciones estructurales para explicar la apertura del adolescente sobre sus actividades en línea y, por último, se llevó a cabo un modelo de mediación. Los resultados evidenciaron que la relación madre-hijo y el monitoreo parental tecnológico muestran una asociación positiva con la apertura del adolescente. En conclusión, el monitoreo parental media entre la relación madre-hijo y la apertura del adolescente, un estilo de monitoreo cálido y responsivo facilitará la apertura del hijo.
