Abstract

This dossier issue of Cuestiones Teológicas brings together the keynote lectures delivered at the opening sessions of each day of the Latin American and Caribbean Congress of Patristic Studies, as well as the contributions of ten professors who participated in the academic event. The congress served as a space for intellectual exchange and scholarly dialogue on Patristic Studies in Latin America and the Caribbean, fostering interdisciplinary reflection on the theological, philosophical, and historical traditions of early Christianity. The initiative resulted from the collaborative efforts of Unicervantes Fundación Universitaria, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, which hosted the congress and now presents the selected proceedings in this special dossier issue of its theology journal. The publication aims to strengthen regional academic networks devoted to Patristic Studies and to promote contemporary research on the ancient Christian tradition within the Latin American scholarly context.
