New Paradigms for Catechesis in Brazil: A Presentation of the National Directory for Catechesis

Abstract

The Church in Brazil has played a significant role in the Latin-American Church, by the number of her faithful and pastors, including the theologians. Consequently, her contribution to the Latin-American Church has been very relevant nowadays. This article points out the components of the New Directory for the Catechesis in Brazil, following its chronology and its different components. It´s not only a contribution to Catechesis but a challenge to all the Latin-American Churches to revisit the situation of their catechesis.
