Abstract
The evaluation of the risk of Child Sexual Abuse (ASI) is based on the basis of understanding the association between the different risk factors, Echeberúa and Guerricaechevarría (2000) define the risk factors in the ASI as those circumstances of various types that favor that the child is a victim of sexual abuse. From this perspective, these authors say that it is not a matter of establishing a direct cause-effect relationship, but merely a probabilistic association, which means that when it is said that a child is at high risk, it represents that they have a greater probability of suffering sexual abuse. . In this perspective, risk factors touch different dimensions, some of these are: individual and social characteristics and family organization. In child sexual abuse there is not a single causal factor, but it is the result of the conjunction of a series of factors, for this reason it is necessary for an adequate prevention, to know what the main risk factors are in a specific context, to emphasize in protective factors that will help decrease the risk of possible abuse.
