Abstract

In a real democracy, the political rights of the citizens are always respected. The National Front was a political bipartisan agreement with certain particularities that ruled in Colombia for more than 12 years. This article explores whether such pact, given its particular characteristics, can be or not be considered to be democratic according to a concept of democracy that will be built in the first chapter.
