Abstract

The following article, tries to present some of the main political ideas of Guillermo Ockham, that influenced in the modern political thought, such as the separation of the temporal and the espiritual power, the right to the free political decision and the right to refuse to obey tyrannical laws and kings, ideas that influenced as well in the later bases of the modern democracies.
