The delegative democracy

Abstract

This article has as objective to establish the theoretical nature of what it is and it is not a government democratic policy, and especially, to describe what a delegative democracy is. It also recreates a space of debate about the reality of Colombian democracy and it motivates an examination on the exercise of presidential power by president Álvaro Uribe Vélez. It is a theoretical work with a qualitative focus which has as interest an interpretation of the texts and contexts in which the facts as well as the theories are contained. It ends up concluding with the proposition of a track to democratic restoration or democratic improvement which is summed up in a social activism of political control.
