Abstract

At the end of the Second World War, some diplomatic and political situations were modified in the international area. The United States was standing out in America, promoted the creation of regional organizations to stop any “threat coming from the outside”. In this context, the paper analyzes the role of Colombia in the international politics and in the diplomatic matters during the consolidation of the new world order.
