Abstract
The recent publication of « The Da Vinci Code» has risen different reactions and numerous controversies within and outside the Catholic Church. This article confronts in a clear and civilized manner the arguments in favor of a marriage in Jesus´s life. When the citations are brought up and studied thoroughly within their biblical context the data given by the novel tumble down. This essay shows how important is a serious knowledge of the Bible to show God´s revelation in this history, without contriving the original intention of the holy writers.
