Main Article Content
Abstract
This visual essay accounts for the work carried out through workshops and based on the concept of Self-referential Photographic Repertoires, with young high school students in the Ejido Jalpa, a rural town in northern Mexico. The intention of these workshops was to create a space for dialogue and reflection through photography, on the relationship of these young people with their territory. The result was an exhibition that took place between April and May 2022 in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila. These activities are part of the research project "Emerging Knowledge Communities and Audiovisual Research-Creation Processes" CEC-ICreA, SEP-CONACYT Fund, (2019-2023) which seeks to build strategies to generate and manage knowledge between academic and non-academic communities in formats that go beyond the written text.
