GAMIFICATION AS A TELEMATIC RESOURCE IN BUSINESS COMMUNICATION IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

Abstract
The pandemic had triggered an increase of teleworking activity while reducing (or even disappearing) the daily presence at the jobsite.and the top management needs to analyze if there is a direct relationship between those variables (teleworking-cohesion) in order to disclosure strategic messages and maintain or improve interpersonal relations.
The pandemic has led to a forced and exponential growth in teleworking use, even in companies that had not seriously considered it until now. The vast majority of them were not adequately prepared for implantation.
Gamification is a simple, flexible and structured tool to find and use game-based solutions to motivate employee behaviors to meet management goals, promote personal and professional development and increase loyalty. As an element of connection and virtual relationship between the individuals in a company can replace the direct physical relationship and personal development that drives to an efficient and productive activity in a friendly environment.
This research made a preliminary analysis through interviews to small and medium-sized businesses managers and to find out if they consider that the new situation caused by the pandemic affects communication among their members and has allowed to conclude that gamification is widely known but little used and can be a useful tool to maintain business cohesion in times of widespread use of teleworking without daily physical contact of the people who make up a business organization.
