Abstract

The article reflects on the validity and importance of the Social Survey, proposing the transcendence of the fulfillment of a legislative mandate, the adoption of a holisticintegrative worldview that articulates the elements of legal procedure and the analysis of the socio-family-context, and the contribution to community and democratic participation processes. It outlines the relationship and difference of the Social-PS expertise with the Social Forensic Work -SFW, in order to substantiate its own disciplinary field, legally sanctioned, and thus overcome, ideological and technical instrumental welfare postures.
