Educative research in social work: the case of families with premature babies assisted at the miracles of life foundation at Bolivariana University Clinic

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of the links established by families with babies born in prematurity situations and that were treated at the Miracles of Life Foundation of the Bolivariana University Clinic. Findings on two projects done between 2012 and 2013 with students from the Faculty of Social Work at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana are presented. Mainly categories such as teenage motherhood and fatherhood and the importance of families of origin in the process of support for parents and babies are presented.
