Abstract

Since its inception, the Revista Informes Psicológicos seeks to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and development in the field of psychology, locally, nationally and internationally. In its development over the years, our journal has sought to establish itself as a reference space for scientific research in the field of social sciences, health and issues related to human behavior, seeking to promote the exchange of knowledge and opinions. In volume 18 of the Journal, research products are presented seeking a free, innovative and rigorous academic space at the service of the theoretical and investigative developments of the discipline. In this issue, readers will show the richness of the contribution proposed by the authors, in addition to the treatment of different current problems presented in different countries. Thus, our editorial project takes on more importance every day and it is our duty to promote the dissemination and visibility of knowledge, improving processes and seeking our presence in citation indexes and databases with high scientific impact, despite the policies that stand out the limited contribution of Colombian journals regarding the production of knowledge worldwide and that, in the search for the insertion of our country in international dynamics, affect the development of journals with not so high impact.
