Abstract

Modernity, treaded upon by the contemporaneous Human Being, is constituted in the reflective event so the subject, who “takes care of himself ”, can
relate to the regimes of knowledge, truth and power theorized by philosopher Michel Foucault in order to contribute to the ethicalpolitical vigilance of the Self and its insertion in the totality of the world, which concerns it, in a globalized present modeled by consumerism and individualism.
