Rusell and the problem of reference
Main Article Content
Abstract
Bertrand Russell devoted great part of his work to the problem of reference and description. Together with Whitehead, Russell developed a treaty on mathematical logic which was titled Principia Mathematica. In his attempt to show and prove that Mathematics is a branch of logic Russell retook Frege´s
project in this work. Russell does not only have this logicistic objective, but he also wants to conceive a logically perfect language, a clear and precise language free of any ambiguity or vagueness, that´s to say, the language of science. This objective is being developed in this paper. We will also look into the acceptability and suitability in every context of this logically perfect language.
