La poética de la simplicidad

Abstract

Simplicity, from a poetic standpoint, far from being “inane”, can be turned into a human instrument to assume the risk of being. When mankind lives in simplicity the outcome is that of a naked and direct relation with the world in the amazement of everyday life, immersed in the experience of a joyful act. Many poets have known that through the sobriety of essential expression, it is possible to celebrate simplicity which turns out to be an exercise just as valid as it is revealing. To believe in simplicity is to believe in enthusiasm. To live in simplicity is to assume a grave responsibility.
