Abstract
In the history the topic of the human rights only appears in the XX century. No philosophical reflection had worried about the question of the human being like subject of some inherent rights to its own being. The philosophy had recognized the right to the reason, occident and its Christian tradition had recognized its right to the eternity and dignity of Son of God to grant him the immortality. Now then, why in this tradition the man does not appear like possessor of some own basic rights, independent of their social condition, politics and economic. Rights that were granted him by the single fact of being man. The human rights only acquire their metaphysical foundation starting from historical reality of the man and its epistemologic statute is demonstrated from there. Only the historicity of the man starting from the roots in the materiality that gives sense to the human right as such. It is from man like material being and own of an historical reality that he finds his citizenship letter in the speech by the human rights. And about that, Ellacuría will have a lot to say.
