Abstract
The article deals with a comparative study between the poetry of Safo and verses form the Song of Songs having as a reference the common use of themes. It is a speculation and not a systematic study as such. The love of lovers, their nocturnal awareness and their dreams are the scene where they meet as fundamental pillars of this reflection leaving open space and time for new developments in future research.
