An approach to Principium Reddendae Rationis Sufficientis
Main Article Content
Abstract
The so-called Principles of Thought have had a categorical validity within the philosophical tradition and Western science. This essay aims at showing the importance the rationis sufficientis principle has had in modernity based on the heideggerian reflection concerning the Principle of Reason (Der Satz vom Grund) in order to reveal the power such principle entails and its applicability on the most significant scientific breakthroughs. On the other side, the
summons to be vigilant and to listen to a most radical thinking of Being is made explicit, a stance that compels us to topple the domineering outlook that has accompanied the calculating and instrumental reason along with its manipulative interpretation of Being.
