Abstract
The Colombian Association of Biblical Scholars (ACEC) is now on its 40th anniversary. The influence of the Association can be traced all over the country in its different academic and pastoral activities, in diocesis, parishes and little communities. Celebrating the Biblical Congress in the year 2005, the author presents the history of the Association with data on its major events and traditions. From now on, it could be considered as an essential element of the memory of this
Catholic Biblical Association.
