Abstract

We live in an economically globalized world which fosters individualism aiming only “to have”, thus neglecting essential relationships as love, family and religion. “Communion constitutes the essence of God and of any human being made to his image and likeness: this is his vocation. In the same time, communion is the soul, the deepest reality in the Church which, originally, is not the product of a human will but from God´s will” (LG 1-17, 39-42). Holiness (the divine perfection in the human person) and spirituality (The presence of the Holy Spirit in all) express the richness of the Community: The Augustinian religious life is a communitarian lifestyle. Love changes relationships into communion. To globalize holiness and spirituality is the challenge of the XXIst century.
