Abstract
This article states the concordance of the theological projects drawn by Gustavo Gutiérrez and Jhon D. Caputo. Their common background of historicity allows, according to the author, the dialogue between the Liberation Theology and the Theology of the Event. In this sense, we retake the classical problem of the Liberation Theology: to match faith with human existence, faith with social reality, in other words, the relationship between the Kingdom of God and its building in our world.
