Periodismo público: otra manera de investigar

Abstract

The Public Journalism begins and ends on citizenship. For that reason it is necessary to apply some research techniques which are different from traditional journalism or those ones treated on the investigative units (which disappeared) of the printed media. Getting to the common citizen, knowing their claims, but also their proposals requires others items that are given by the ethnology of the observation techniques, discussion groups and finally the interview is the one that really gives to the journalist the basic subject for them to do the articles, reports, and chronics with the civic journalistic emphasis: those themes must give the complete information in which it gives a participation more frequently on the public life, because of the citizens and also on the development of the productive discussion that determine its condition.
