Abstract
This article makes an analysis of the cinema spectator from the category: crowd of esthetic works. In that search, check the main approaches with which it has examined to film audiences, from works of psychoa nalysis about spectator, passing through the reader as a strategy of the text, to the public as a consumer. This course expands the different views considering that the viewer always operates under the aesthetic of crowd, and therefore it is necessary study how this figure transforms the traditional idea of receptor as a lonely person, although attend a collective experience.
