Comunicación interna en el entorno digital de la Universidad de Ibagué

Abstract
The use and appropriation of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) is growing in organizations in developing their management processes of internal communication. The aim of this paper is to present the results of the analysis to digital media for internal communication in the University of Ibague (Tolima, Colombia), which is administers by the area of Corporate Communications.
Methodologically the research included the evaluation of communication tools: Volantín, Rectory, weekly schedule, latest news on the institutional website and e-mail, in the following aspects: accessibility, architecture of information, interaction design, hypermedia, hypertext, multimedia, participation, interactivity, social media and usability; as well as the realization of semi-structured interviews with ten employees of different hierarchies belonging to different areas of the University.
