Couple and family from the perspective of the Catholic faith, in the light of the doctrine of Popes Juan Pablo II, Benedicto XVI and Francisco

Abstract
The central focus of this article is derived from the results of the Be a Couple-Be a Family Research carried out by the Family Research Group of the Pontifical Bolivarian University and its Family Research, belonging to that of the Faculty of Social Work. Which had within its objectives: to identify the concepts couple and family, in the light of anthropology, sociology, psychology, law, the Catholic faith and the systemic approach, to understand if a couple is a family. Looking at the perspective of the Catholic faith, an approach is made to the view of what some Popes of the Catholic Church such as: Benedict XVI, St. John Paul II, Francis and a group of Priests of Colombia have mentioned in the face of the concepts of family and couple. The methodology was qualitative with an interactive documentary approach accompanied by interviews modality, with was aimed at six presbyteries selected for convenience with direct invitation. The above, to the presbytery allowed to conclude that being a couple is not the same as being a family are two different concepts, but they are related to each other, and determined by personal perspectives that are in turn influenced by culture, social institutions, and values.
