Roberto Juarroz: Happening of the word

Abstract

Roberto Juarroz is considered to be one of the most important exponents of poetical reflection in Latin America. His work Vertical Poetry is an attempt to find a refreshing look of things, which might be able to break what is considered as conventional and, therefore, allowing a reflection and an experience of the world that goes deeper. Thus, poetry provides space for multiplicity, offering the opportunity to find through language endless aspects of what we call reality.
