Abstract
A 21 years old military man from Chigorodó who lives in Andes, Antioquia, has a medical record of 20 days of nocturne fever associated to shivering, diaphoresis, progressive dyspnea (breathing difficulty) and withered cough. This military man had eated raw crustaecous. Paragonimiasis diagnosis was done through a biopsy and it was confirmed at the Washington Army Pathology Institute. The patient was succesfuly treated with praziquantel.
