In February of the year of 1995 the permanent Seminar of Investigation in Clinical Psychology was founded that divided every fifteen days until it gave rise, on June 23, 1997 to the Group of Investigation in Psychology constituted by the following lines: Clinical Psychology and Mental Health; Limited physical, mental and sensory; Experimental psychology; Community social; Organizational Psychology and Genetic Epidemiology. In 1999, the first Edition of the Faculty Magazine “Informes Psicológicos” was launched, which has been operating to date and has six editions, which is equivalent to an annual publication. In 2000, the Research Group was recognized by COLCIENCIAS in Category C. In 2001, in accordance with CIDI policies and for greater clarity of work, the lines were reorganized as they are currently operating. 2002 semester, it is taken as a policy that undergraduate students link their degree work to projects in the lines of research. In the COLCIENCIAS call for Research Groups in 2002, the Research Group was in the category of recognized group and in two thousand and five the group was recognized again and placed in category C.
