Bloodless removal of residual gallstones. Treatment of seventy patients

Abstract
We have analyzed the technique of postoperative instrumentation in seventy cases of residual lithiasis in the biliary tract. This procedure was applied the first time by 1955 in Argentina, with the use of metallic instruments. In 1969 with the use of the small banquets the progress continued up to 1972 when the dirigible catheter made it widely used.The procedure is indicated, provided that a T-Tube has been applied to the biliary duct. Most of the cases may be practiced ambulatory lv. It is necessary to wait four weeks after surgery for the application of this procedure. Complications and accidents are minimal and are hadled without major difficulty.
