Abstract

Adolescents have been only understood from an individual framework. Thus, social Scientifics and therapists have emphasized the problems they cause on families and societies. In this paper, a new approach is suggested, so an integral treatment can be followed. Failure and success in adolescents depend on family reorganization. New hierarchial rearrengements and communication models must be developed. The goal of treatment is to promote individuality while young people still keep in touch with their families of origin. Although ugh problems may be expressed through behavior, thought disorders, communication distortion and social confrontation, they also represent one of the most difficult stages in the family life cycle: parents - children separation. This paper contrasts the relationship between society and adolescents which has seen negatively. Young people also play a constructive role because they challenge and promote changes for communities.
