Abstract

The results obtained in the autopsies of three Individuals who Ingested Paraquat In suicidal attempts, are presented. The most remarkable findings were located in the lung In the form of defuse alveolar damage of variable Intensity, regardless of the time of evolution: 10 days. The hepatic and renal damage are equally discussed based on the current concepts about the role of free oxygen radicals originated In the Interaction of the tissues with Paraquat.
