Abstract

Primary Idiopathic Segmental Infarction of Greater Omentum is a rare event in itself and very infrequently is diagnosed in relation with acute surgical abdomen. A general revision of this pathology is a noted. In this paper the occurrence of two cases In the General Surgical Department, ISS, Medellin is presented. In Colombia according to the medical literature available only another similar case has been reported. Revision of rare occurrence pathologies will contribute to early diagnosis and proper therapeutic management.
