Eosinophilic Pneumonia. Case report and literature review

Abstract

The clinical course of massive estrongyloydiasis is shown in a 66-year-old man. The diagnosis was made by sputum smears. The radiologic and clinical evolution during tiabendazole therapy are evaluated. Different entities producing the eosinophilic pneumonia syndrome are reviewed. Basic concepts such as; life cycle, clinical and pathologic course, treatment and prognosis are shown.
