Abstract

In this artiele we review the anatomy of the spinal chord, in order to better understand the pathophysiology of medullary lesions, neurologic disorders along with the diverse syndromes that result from each of the portions of the spinal chord injured. The knowledge of relevant neuroanatomic principles, help us determine with more precision abnormal conditions and their consequences in sensitive, autonomic and motor function.
