Abstract

The susceptibilities of 76 strains (20 S.pneumoniae, 24 H.influenzae, 10 S.aureus, 12 S.pyogenes y 10 de Moraxella catarrhalis) to Cefprozil were determined by broth microdilution. All strains were suceptible to Cefprozil. The MIC 90 against S.pneumoniae were 0.12, 0.5 and 2 mcg/ml according to its susceptibility to penicillin. The MIC 90 against H.influenzae, S.aureus, S.pyogenes and Moraxella catarrhalis were 4,0.5,0.06 and 0.5 mcg/ml respectively. Our findings are similar to published reports.
