Abstract
This is a short biographical synthesis of Albert Schweitzer; emphasis has been made on his philosophy and personality that oriented his activities and life. Credit is given to his work of medical and humanitarian character, in Lambarene and to his permanent dedication to behave as a testimony of his own ideals.
