Abstract

The case of a diabetic woman who developed a subcutaneous abscess at the site of an intramuscular injection, is reported. The causative agent, C. albicans, was observed microscopically in the pus and insolated in pure culture in two different opportunities. Treatment with Ketoconazole preved curative.
