Wounds of the upper limbs (hands). Its causes, its diagnosis and its management

Abstract
Hand injuries have implications in the economic status of the patient's family. This article analyzes the different etiologies of this type of trauma and reviews the adequate initial management that should be well known to all medical and paramedical personal that could be involved in the treatment of such patient. It also analyzes some aspects of immobilization, primary closure and delayed surgical treatment; as well as injuries caused by different types of machines.
