Abstract
An historical review of the Faculty of Medicine of de PONTIFICIA BOLIVARIANA UNIVERSITY was made, the most important facts since foundation of the University until creation of the faculty were chronological studied.
Emphasis is made at the extraordinary effects performed for the first deans which made possible the actual reality of our faculty.
