The case of infectious: ocular toxocariasis. Report of a case

Abstract

One case of posterior retinochoroiditis (macular granuloma) due to Toxocara canis is presented, confirmed by ELISA technique, in a 15 year-old man who complain of decreased visual acuity for two years. A review of toxocariasis (Visceral larva migrans) is provided with emphasis upon ocular manifestation.
