Benign thyroid nodule. Topic review

Abstract

Thyroid's pathology isn't a public health problem, but it appears as an important cause for medical!, physician and surgeons consultation. Previous any epidemiological dates, the article present notes about physiopathology, diagnostic measures (ultrasound, fine needle aspiration, radioisotope scanning, and others more sophisticated). Management rules are presented, discriminating esquematically four population groups: young, adult, elderly and pregnancy women, around each one are noted risks and beneficial’s of hormone therapy, radioactive Iodum and surgery.
