Abstract

Different opinions and attitudes with respect to the abortion problem as an attempt against the life of the human being have arisen throughout the hisrorical path of Catholic-Christianity. The new mentality that aggravates this situation, the anti-Iife mentality, is also considered. Anthropological statements are formulated, enriched with the Christian-theological outlook.
