Cerebral blood flow

Abstract

On the doorstep of the 21 st century, the era of the neurosciences, this article reviewing cerebral blood flow, is presented. At the outset some anatomical concepts will be covered, followed by a discussion of different physiological aspects of cerebral blood flow, such as the Regional blood flow and regulatory mechanisms amongst others. Also discussed, are some imaging techniques currently used in the study of cerebral blood flow.
