Primary hyperparathyroidism

Abstract
A case of primary hiperparathyroidism, is described. A 31 year-old patient consulted because of two years of recurrent Nephrolithiasis. The diagnosis was reached with the aid of serum calcium and parathyroid hormone (PTH) determinations. Preoperative localization of the lesion was aided by computed tomography (CT). The patient presented a postoperative complication of hypocalcemia with Chvostek’s and Trousseau’s signs.
