Latin american in Europe. Experience of uprooting and psychocultural identity process
Main Article Content
Abstract
The experience ofbeing uprooted is a direct result of latin American migration to Europe and has been taking place in the last two hundred years. This social phenomenon has been the subject ofcultural integration in its own development especially in relation with literature and oral communication. In this way it is possible to delimitate four fundamental types of uprooting experience that lead to specific forms of self awareness and of articulation of the own existence in the new enviroment. On this essay uprooting experience is focussed in its connection with psycho-social health of the indivuals affected, and a basic questioning is defined in order to study with detail the problem.
