Abstract
The relationship between mother and baby involves several elements related to psychological, physical, biological and cultural aspects. The present study aims to investigate the association between attachment, breastfeeding and culture. A search was carried out in the PubMed, Scielo, BIREME, PsyInfo and Web of Science databases, with the Keywords in English, published between 2009 and 2021. 121 studies were found, and, after the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 5 studies were selected. The data described suggest a relationship between these three factors. However, more studies on the relationship between attachment, breastfeeding and culture are needed for an accurate conclusion.
