Abstract
The article tries to problematize and provide a solution to the possibility of opposing hysteria and paranoia, which do not constitute clinical structures for psychoanalysis. To do this, he conducts an investigation of the antecedents of the problem in Freud and from the Oedipus complex, central in his work, shows Lacan's theorization of it, his progress in relation to Freud and the possibility of relating the concepts of structure, speech and logic, which allow an opposition between hysteria and paranoia. The notion underlying work is female sexuality
